The Taylor tackle

I've not seen it, however I've heard the bbc radio commentary.
Now to me, the guy on five live seems surprised to see the red, there is certainly none of the "Taylor could be off here" stuff you usualy get.
That gives me the impression he didn't think it was particually bad, just mistimed.
Wenger has wound me up, his players are angels, never set out to hurt anyone (er John Terry Arsene?) anyone touches his then its intentional harm, shouldn't play again etc etc.
