homage to catalonia was posted from my Parents today, where it has sat on my bookshelf for years, since i read it at college. Bloody amazing book.

Land and Freedom is such a bloody great film.

Starting to study the period has got me interested in *actual* politics again, not the middle of the road claptrap being banded around currently. And has also massively depressed me! Cant wait to teach it next year.
