Playing huckerby reduces roeder's options on the left of the field, and for a player who can't defend and is off in the summer, Hucks seems like the wrong choice at the moment.
Having relied heavily on him for years, the team has to learn to cope without hucks, and now is the right time to do so. Roeder's certainly considering putting bids in for players like henry or pearce in the summer, so he needs to see how they can cope and what will work. His main objective this season was to keep us up and he's pretty much done that, so let's give him a bit of creative licence, alright?
A lot of other managers manage to build successful teams without huckerby, why can't norwich?
