I think it's more to do with his agent's comments to be honest

you can see what's happened - agent says Hucks is leaving without consulting hucks or GR, GR is unhappy at the manner of this (as you can see from his comments in the oficial site article) and decides to leave him out. Hucks and the club have not spoken about a new contract. I imagine that GR is quite stubborn.

I'll leave others to determine whether this is in the best interests of the team - people will have their own opinions about the footballing merits of Henry/Gibbs over Huckerby.
