Champions and the Intertwobob Cup

Is that really what a team trying to stay in the Premiership need? An extra month on their season, extra games (2 probably), etc.

Granted, if they get to the first stage proper, they have extra income, but surely this would be more of a distraction?

Might attract more players to the club I guess, but unlikely unless they win the Cup and qualify...
