That's the thing isn't it.

I think he still has a part to play and would like to think those at the top think the same. He can still influence a game, just not to the same extent or frequency anymore.

If he wants to stay and they still want him here, then there's going to have to be a meeting of minds re. length of contract and salary. First bit's easy. I'm guessing the second part's not!!
