I'm just saying that he should pick the best players available, regardless of their contract status. Furthermore, I think that's what he is doing.

I think the evidence of the past few months is that he's his own man who'll pick his own team. He got Gibbs on loan *because* he wanted to play him...so surely no surprise when he does so?
