Something that occurs to my mind about all this bollocks

What happens when one of these games happens in certain parts of the world where the betting syndicates or Mafia have enough influence to affect the outcome? Say, by causing a floodlight failure (Always popular), or dosing one team with food poisoning and lumping on the other team?
