I wonder why they haven't announced the immediate disbanding of the Provisional IRA?

For what purpose does this republican army now serve? Not to indulge in political solutions. It is a non-elected, non-political, secret organisation. Whilst the IRA remains, they will seek to continue to enforce their own ideals, beliefs and agenda in any way they deem necessary.
