Ipswich Loan signing

Heard a Rumour today that Ipswich are not going to sign David Nugent on 3 months loan until next week. This will allow him to play in the play off final in the 3 months.

Does anybody know if this is true?

If it is I hope they fall flat on there faces, and miss out!!
