Short term contracts and results-based rewards for ther players.
The idea of spending £2m on someone like Norris is perverse given that he is completely unproven and it really is a gamble when you consider his price tag and wage demand.
I like what Roeder has achieved and the most pleasing aspect is that players are competing for places, something which I can't recall in the last three seasons.
