?Inter were a solid side but they lacked the star names they have now. These days most of their best players are foreigners but when we played them I seem to remember they only had two or three - Bergkamp and Reuben Sosa, the Uruguayan, are the only ones that spring to mind. The bulk of side were Italians, I think, and only their keeper Walter Zenga was a really big name.?
Durr!!! Teams were only allowed upto 3 foreigners in those days if I remember correctly! (remember Championship manager anyone?!). Most European teams lacked the number of so called stars as football was not as big back then as it is now, in a media/celebrity sense.
Some of the other players from that game that I can remember were Massimo Paganin, Antonio Paganin, Dell-Annio, Igor Shalimov..........without looking up I am struggling!
