The loans........... will it end in tears?

First let me say I think GR has done a fantastic job of getting in quality loans into the club.

Obviously I think we have gone from a weak squad under Grant to a strong one under GR with adition of quality (and the clear out of the dead wood)

The problem is we went from having virtually no cover for Adam Drury to now having about a gazzillion left sided players.
I dont blame GR for snapping up quality players when offered. (you can only take what offered)
The question is we can only play 5 of the 7.

I also think its an open secret that certain promises are made to loan players (and their clubs) about playing time.
After all, there is not much point in them coming if they will just warm the bench or not even make the squad.

So obviously players like Hucks and Pattison are going to be unhappy.
Pattison is going to play when we have injuries/ suspensions in the middle.

It would be easy if some of the current loan players were playing badly but Mo Cam, Bertrand, Ched and even Bates have all done a good job for us.

The options are that we have a rotation system which might not be a bad thing with the busy March shedule coming up.

Or we send back at least one loan player (Mo Cam?)

We really need to keep Arsenal, Chelsea and Boro happy as they will be in the Prem next year and maybe be a valuable source of loan players.
If we give their loans quality playing time (and look after them) it will encourage other prem clubs to loan us their BEST younger players next year.
Something we will need if we are to push for promotion.

Next year we are without doubt going to be looking to loan/buy in "at least" 2 strikers.

What complicates matters is we are winning, not only winning but not conceding many goals either.
Anyone getting dropped is going to feel really hard done by.

Will it end in tears? Some players aint going to be happy.
