there is no such thing as a 'Digital TV' really. There are some like yours which have a digital receiver bolted on, but the TV works the same way TVs always did, more or less. Hence the confusion over people thinking they have to chuck perfectly decent TVs and buy Digital ones for the big switchover, when all they really need is a £20 freeview box.
