i know i should drop this, because i genuinely don't think beckford is racist, just that his comments were misguided (i think i've already explained this to him but then had it thrown back in my face), but i'm so hoping that his sole justification of his proof that he's not racist is "cos some of my best friends is black"...

or maybe he's got reasons similar to Big Ron's
