Humor is a funny thing..............

We can make fun of differences but the degree its accepted varies.

As an example you could make a fat joke and very few would get offended.

Make a religious joke (ie Jewish Joke) and some will find it not to their taste.

Make a racial joke and most will be offended, especially most of the people who laughed at the fat joke which is somehwhat ironic.

In all cases you are laughing at differences.

The degree people are offended varies on their own personal values and those of the society around them.
