A couple of oddities from today

The Preston keeper was wearing 1 on his shirt but 30 on his shorts.

Bates made his first contribution without entering the field of play. The substitution took place when City had a throw in right in front of the bench. Semi came to pick up the ball and take it, was called off and gave the ball to Bates who took the throw, I think, before he actually crosssed the line onto the pitch.
