Another way is that actions speak louder than words

Words: "very passionate, very determined and very, very, very ambitious."

Actions: an interest free loan in May 2007 of £2m (in return for two seats on the board. Equivalent annual benefit to the club of maybe £150,000.

And what else? What else that we actually know about? Errrrrrrr .... And the lack of actions speaks particularly loudly when it covers a period in which we were bottom of the league and looking in real, real danger of the drop. Did our "new muli-millionaires" rush in and provide funds? Well, not so's you'd notice.

So forgive me for not being in ecstasy about the Turners so far.
