Holt used up all his Good Ginger Mojo getting us promoted in the first place. Perhaps that's why he was so rubbish in the premiers**t - no Good Mojo left.

So, it's simple, we need to sign up Sidwell, or some other ginger, get promoted, and then get a new ginger next season in the prem
