People are going to whinge because the players we are signing/linked with are not "name" players.
No-one has heard of them, so they can't be any good-lack of ambition bla bla bla. And the rest.
I think what counts is if they are GOOD players or not, regardless of who they are. Not many of us will have heard much about Ched before we signed him, now most of us would love him to be signed on permanently.
Thinking of name players, Thomas Helveg was one of the most well known we've ever signed. Yes, quite.
Ian Culver-who?
OK, both are from a while back, but, if the old Internet had been around then, everyone would have been castigating us signing players like Culverhouse and wondering why we didn't go for Gary Mabbut instead!
Lets see how they are before we judge. We aren't going to get Taylor now and probably won't. I'd like a striker before midnight though.
