Sure, it's a pain in the arse, but there you go - if you want to be able to expect unwavering loyalty from your players you're going to be disappointed (unless you follow Chelsea).

Footballers have very little idea about the shape of normal life anyway - so to expect them to show greater loyalty to an employer than you or I would in similar circs is a non-starter.

Fuck him, let him go, the club will go on. We survived having Reeves sold out from under us, waving tara to Damo will be a holiday by comparison.
