I can see why the media would want to put out stories of 'McDiplomas' at the expense of misrepresenting what it really is, and having listened to various WOTBers opinions of the matter I can see how this might be a good means of standardizing all the various training received in this kind of job. However, with respect to my original point, that this is supposed to be construed as 'competing in the global skills race', I just don't buy it. As I say, it looks like a regulatory restructuring exercise.
