It seems like a bit of a risky game, but Roeder is playing hardball and I still think we will get our man eventually.

Would it be different if either Shackell or Doherty had got a bad injury or if we had been shipping in goals? Probably. But Brum keeping Taylor for an extra 6 months is going to cost them £250,000 ( rough estimate of 26 weeks @ £10k per week) or the difference between our valuation.
