Soory but nor do you. We were told

by our manager that Taylor was 'desperate to play' for Norwich City. If he wasn't then that was not a clever thing to say.

You accuse me of being unfairly negative but that's just because I don't always swallow the club's spin - where's the evidence that we are any more potent in the transfer market now than we were before? Roeder has done a good job in shipping out those he doesn't rate but as yet the permanent ins are minimal.

WHEN we have some decent signings on board then I will accept all this stuff about Roeder's contact book etc. Short-term loans have served us well, of course, and he's done a good job IN THE SHORT TERM but Roeder's critics at other clubs (West Ham and Newcastle) did warn us that he is very good at making a quick impact but not so good at sustaining it.

Whether you like it or not we need some good permanent signings and we need them NOW!

Despite all the hype we're still in the sh**
