It depends what context you want to put it in...

We can afford to spend 500k on andy hughes.. i would rather us take 5 100k "gambles" on players such as ryan bertrand myself (who is quality) is 100k a big gamble really for a club of our size? whats going to generate extra money in the future for this club? we need assets, young quality players are certainly that.. and we are not creating them through our own youth academy so we have to look elsewhere. simple as that for me.
