I've had a brainwave while decorating the kitchen!

The pitch area is only used once every two weeks (the reserves can play at Colney) what a lost opportunity for capital gain!

Why not sell the pitch to a contractor to build more flats (stay with me) With an elaborate set of pulleys and cogs the flats can be lowered into the ground and a sliding pitch put in their place on matchdays, once the games over just haul the flats up again.

I don't know why someone hasn't thought of this before, I'm off to the patent office
