Am i alone in thinking that's sensible?

I'd love to see some decent signings, but I'm not that bothered.
I'd rather we spent the budget in summer than now, prices more realistic and usually more players available.
Plus it'll be easier to sell the club from a clean start with a decent half season behind us, than sitting near the bottom of the table as we are now.

Clearly not going up this year, so it'll be nigh on impossible to tempt players here from teams probably 14th and upwards as they all still have an outside chance at the play-offs.
Come the summer though, when most of those clubs have failed to go up, it'll be a little easier.
It's also looking less likely we'll go down, I think there's enough in there to see to that, with the addition of tiny if possible to try and scratch out a few more clean sheets, which is another way to turn scoring draws into wins.

This all presumes of course that there is a budget, and it would still be there in the summer............
