but this is a message board, looking for opinions - isn't it? I'm looking for any crumb of comfort going in to Sunday's game. That's all.

The key phrase in all of what I put was "one-off" - without wanting to labour the point, every game in a league season is not a one-off, apart the last one, and even then it might not have any meaning.
