Bury earned thier win last night - it was more than Norwich being poor, Bury played thier

part too. Ten men behind the ball at all times, very quick to put pressure on the ball, made the pace of the game very high. They made it very difficult.

They had two chances all night and put both of them away. Apart from picking the ball out of the net Marshall had nothing to do. Well, "nothing" if you don't count a back-pass every two minutes from either Shackell or Doherty.

Jarvis was terrible, Spillane, out of position and exposed by the formation, was always going to struggle. So Roeder's learnt two things: that Jarvis doesn't have the talent or what it takes between the ears, and that Spillane is not a right back in a formation that demands he play more like a wing back.

Bury: piped in crown noise at the start when the teams came out for kick-off. Oh dear.
