Worthy see's them as opportunities for fitness, nothing more. He chops and changes the teams about so much, I doubt theres much chance of any of these games being used for team planning and/or tactics. He'll know what his first XI should be, and they'll be working on that in practice.

The Aussie cricket team were being written off by everyone a while ago & big money was being taken on them not winning a game. Did they give a feck? Nope, they just went out and did it when it mattered. Providing we do, no-one will remember Southend or Colchester.

If we don't...well, Worthy knows that the buck will stop with him. 17th place would have seen him deified last season-if we're anywhere near 17th at any point this season, it'll be curtains for him.
