But doesn't, or shouldn't, that sort of thing transcend and be above science? Science isn't the be all and the end all, science is a man made concept, just like the bible-and we know how fallible that is.

Would you honestly feel comfortable about going to anyone who claims to have been "healed" by this person and tell them that he is a con artist, simply because it doesn't rest with your scientific beliefs?

Con artist or not, don't the people who believe in what he does and claims to offer have a right to see him, work with him, be "healed" by him? Or are you advocating tht they should be told what to, and what not, to believe in?

What if an influential and powerful group of people wanted to ban alcohol on the grounds (scientifically proven!) that it was a health risk-you'd still want to exercise your right to drink it, despite all that. Doesn't the same apply to these people?

The club claim to serve the community. By hosting these meetings, they are doing just that. Let and let live mate, we're not being hurt or fleeced, let people do their own thing and make their own minds up. Its not for us to dicate.
