my experience they wont.....

i've had years with mitsi's, mazda's and toyota's and also german cars.....

first time i had a golf after having a mitsi my missus comented how heavier the doors felt on the golf and how they seemd to shut with a clunk, and thus she felt much safer, compaired to the wafer thin, light doors on a mitsi!!
