nope..............

in general engineering industry, the thai's and chinese have copied loads of brand stuff........and I'm talking from bitter experiences here! The global comp-any i work for spent $millions on buying a big thai manufacturing company, already successful in the far east - - only to find we cant now sell their products in europe as they are in direct copyright infringment with the main european competitor - and they threatened to sue big time if we market the products.....
