& the funny thing is, the goalkeeper of my lads Sunday team is incredible

he is the Norfolk keeper, but not deemed good enough by Norwich scouts. He has had a spell with Cambridge & is now being snapped up by Hull. I would be shocked if there is a better keeper locally at his age group, but apparently there are stacks of good keepers coming through the youth leagues.
