Disgusted at Joe Lewis transfer

I think the Joe Lewis transfer is the result of years of mis-management of the young players at this club. When was the last time a decent young player came through at Norwich and made significant progress under us? and don't say Jason Shackell.
Probably Rob Green, a fantastic goalkeeper, who should now be England's number 1.

So, the next chance we have to develop a goalkeeper in a similar way comes along. Lewis, 6 feet 5, strong stature, on loan to a lower league club to toughen him up...gets a call-up to England under 21. What do we do? Sell him to f**king Barry Fry for 400k. This is a goalkeeper who could, in my opinion, play for England at senior level.

So, we have a keeper in Marshall who is only 22 and Gilks looks decent too. Fair enough, but Grant should have cosidered his options before flunking £1m on Marshall pre-season. Surely Gilks and Lewis could have battled out for number 1 shirt?

What has happened to all our talked-up youngsters of late? Both Jarvis's, Martin, Spillane etc all seem destined for the Carrow Road scrap-heap. Either they are told they are too good too young or simply not good enough in the first place.

We must be the only 'academy' to have produced no young players of real value. I don't blame Hollman for leaving if Lewis' departure was the reason.

Sort it out Norwich. Disgrace.
