It isn't a rumour, it is true, although

he was not inciting the crowd to stand he was just singing 'Stand up of you hate the scum' like thousands of others. They claimed that he started the chant. The guy that was thrown out was Steve, 5 seats to the right of the Police. If you have a ticket in that area you will have heard him, he often starts the chants round there. He was given no warning and the Head/Head Steward (not Marty 'cus he always deals with Steve really well) came up to get him out. This was only after about 15 mins. I have already written a letter and email and several others said they would too. It was right out of order.

Next match it is direct action and very simple, put chewing gum on your seat. When the steward asks you to sit you can then refuse because it has gum on it. It is then the stewards duty to clean the gum off (as stated in their guide book) which as everyone knows is impossible (unless you have a CO2 fire extinguisher to freeze it off) What can they do then except leave us to stand?
