ok,here goes....

Basically, the landlord hasn't specifically stated either way on whether or not I can have gay sex in it, and hasn't answered my message about it. He knows I've booked a room (with a double bed) with another bloke, but it's not a designated Gay Room.

What action do you think I should take?

- Apparently some law has come in that means you and whoever the other pink is are allowed to freely pump away in any hotel/b and b room.If he doesn't allow you to act in the fashion he is breaking the law.
Personally i don't have any issue that you pump for personal pleasure,but are happy you have picked a private,enclosed environment to do it in.
