And on the subject of weather forecasters

one on the radio last night predicted snow chaos for central and eastern England today. No doubt he has access to all the finest weather satellites and forecasting models, and no doubt he has a degree in meteorology - but if he had just done geog at school he would know that the bit at the top end of Great Britain is actually called "SCOTland".
