Very much so.

Three films based (loosely) on the three ideals of the French Revoultion.

In Blue (liberty), the wife of a famous composer has to deal with the grief of surviving the crash which claimed her husband's and daughter's life.

Red (fraternity) is about a part time model who forms a friendship with a retired judge after she injures his dog.

White (equality) is about a man who takes revenge on his ex-wife by dealing on the black market, faking his own death and framing her for his 'murder'. Of the three, it's thoughtful but also very, very darkly funny.
