Just got back from the game.

Marshall: Absolutely no chance for the goal. Commanded his goal well and dealt comofortably with Palace's other shots.

Otsemebor: Struggled a couple of times in the first half, with Palace going down the left, but extremely solid in the second half. 7.

Camara: Outstanding in the first half, although struggled a bit for pace after the break - still did well with some great tackles. 7.

Doherty and Shackell: Typical performances. For 99 per cent of the times did ever so well - but one moment of madness cost them. Quite how they left Morrison unmarked for the goal is unbelievable. Amateur stuff. Haven't seen a replay but think it was probably Shackell who should have picked him up. Both: 6.

Croft: Arguably his best game in a Norwich shirt. Caused Palace all sorts of problems and at times, switched to the left and also did some damage. Also defended well but tired badly in the second half. 7.

Pattison: While most people will make Croft MoM, thought Pattison was outstanding throughout, battling, breaking up attacks and unlike other games, was not conceding posession cheaply. 8.

Russell: Well-taken goal and while he had an otherwise quiet first half, stepped it up after the break. 7.

Fotheringham: Was never sure about him but have to admit I was probably wrong. Kept things simple, but also played some neat passes. Impressive but some of his free-kicks could have been better. 7.

Dublin: Particularly effective in the first half as Palace were scared of him. Put in real effort to help out the midfield, chasing lost causes. Knackered at the end. 7.

Cureton: Looked lively and deserved a goal. A great looping header nearly caught out there keeper at the start of the second half. 7.

Subs:
Huckerby: Didn't cause them too many problems when coming on. Roeder got it right by making him sub. 6.

Evans: An effort at the end but would go with Cureton every time ahead of him. He's only young but can't see him making it at Man City. 6.

All in all, a great point and what was surprising that when we conceded, we still bossed most of the game even though Palace looked more likely to score.
