The fact of the matter is that NCFC can't just throw another quarter mill in for a player anymore, especially after the board allowed PG to spunk many multiples of that on players like Strihavka. Add to that the need to strengthen in three or four other positions and I say well done to the club for sticking to their guns. I agree that Brady is only responding to what Roeder already came out with, but it's the timing that grates as much as anything - Roeder hasn't said anything about Taylor for a week or more, and Brady knows £750k is on the table, no more, no less. If she thinks that trying to humiliate the club in the national press is going to raise our valuation, she's sadly mistaken...
