Davenport

Interesting we are being linked with him again. Personally I would prefer Taylor but i have an openm mind re Davenport. I remember when he came on for his debut for us at Watford I thought he looked like a fantastic player and potentially the best cntre half we'd had for years. Unfortunately as his loan spell went on his form dipped. I suspect part of it was playing in a struggling team which dragged him down a bit.

Nice guy though. Met him in Mercy and he was very complimentary about NCFC. Think we would get him ahead of Stoke.
