You have no idea

how the players trained this week, which of them were carrying injuries which GR didn't want to risk, who may have over-indulged yesterday, who had a sniffle, or gut rot. You have no idea what the starting plan was, with the team picked accordingly. In short, for you to baldly state that GR 'picked the wrong team' is based on what you may or may not have seen over 90 minutes of the match. It is taken completely out of the context in which a team is actually selected. Sorry, but you have no idea how or why the team was picked, any more than I do.
