I remember when they were the first to knock used SNES and Mega Drive games down to £10, which was an awesome use of pocket money.
They were also the first to knock selected PS2 games down too, and were great at reserving games. They would physically hold a game with your name on it, or they did on the few occassions I used it.
I think scaling down the retro bit and doing the PC stuff wasn't a great move, and they always seemed to have an equal staff to customer ratio towards the end.
