Let's face it, though, can there have been anyone who doubted it at that time? I still maintain we didn't play that badly (except final balls were largely awful) if somewhat naively. And they scored the first four basically on the break against the run of play and we had a few dodgy and critical refereeing decisions go against us (the free kick for their first (I think), Ashtons disallowed goal, what looked like a decent shout for a pelanty turned down) and Saffers went off after 20 minutes.
