You're right: he is just a fan, and doesn't have the expertise of an accountant - plus of course, he lacks the knowledge of certain events which only Norwich fans know about. All the issues you've raised are worth looking at. Bear in mind, though, that you've effectively asked him to show a leaning towards one side of the argument, which really isn't his intention at all - but these are all excellent lines of enquiry, and the whole "where's the money gone?" question really does need as much detailed research as possible.
