IMO.....

You know f**k all about it apart from the headlines.

1) He's not got a work permit as he is not entitled to one. How much he earns now is irrelevant to the tribunal's decision. All they can do is judge on his entitlement to the permit and similar level of player have been refused
2) He's an asylum seeker. He therefore has to show he will be in danger when he returns.
3) His girlfriend is from Sierra Leone. Given this, she may be able to return with him and child but is choosing not to for her own reasons. But that is not for the tribunal. They have to judge on her ability to return, not her willingness.

So in essence, stop making out it's simple when it clearly isn't.
