well done the board. they are clearly trying to get a bargain. afterall they are trying to strengthen their position. this is just the start i think.
they know that realistically they cannot spunk their budget on one player and hope that if taylor really wants to come he will refuse all offers except ours. i hope we do sign him and if he really wants to come he will sit their reserves costing them £15000 a week until they accept our offer.
I am also pleased that roeder hasnt thrown his toys out the pram like o'neil (although he was justified) and has supported the board in their decision. That worried me that they might have lied about the money situation to get him on board and when he found out the truth he would have walked
