No I haven't - it's just an ugly rumour

It was the only way I could describe the introduction of a species for no other purpose than to satisfy the whim of some rich nutter.

the only example which comes immediately to mind is the introduction of the common starling into the USA by a bloke who kind of missed seeing them. I believe it's now considered a major pest.

(by the way, I've typed all of this out once already but it vansihed, so if it reappears, sorry).
