So is Taylor going to be the man for the job?

"But Taylor, who is reported to have turned down a move to Queen's Park Rangers after Birmingham accepted a £1m bid, said he must take time to make his decision.

He said: “I have got a couple of days to mull it over. I have got to think of both my short and long term, really... so I will take a bit of time to decide that and come up with the answer next week."

Maybe not a signing then?
